Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham is a moto-cross athlete from Las
Vegas
, Nevada that was born with Spina Bifida. He is known from the Hit TV
show, Nitro Circus and will be participating in the Disability Symposium 2015. The
Disability Symposium is an event dedicated to sharing stories, receiving
feedback, and participating in discussion with students and colleagues.

The event will be a part of the 2015-2016 Slippery Rock
University Diversity and Inclusion Series, and is newsworthy because it is
close to home, the proximity is very recent, and because of prominence. Wheelz,
a keynote speaker, will be participating in a meet and greet on Tuesday
November 24, 2015 from 8 A.M. – 2 P.M. in the Smith Student Center.

Aaron Fotheringham is not shy why performing tricks with his wheel chair (Spina
Bifida is a health condition that resulted in impairment of his lower limbs)
for the camera. He has many videos on YouTube, and any information from Nitro
Circus can be linked as well. The event is free to the public and any
presentations (poster presentations, communication and hands-on presentations)
can be linked as well using photos and videos.
